Tina Karol visits UNFPA Country Office in Ukraine
On February 15, Tina Karol, famous Ukrainian pop-singer and celebrity has visited UNFPA Country Office in Ukraine and had a meeting with Dr. Borys Vornyk, UNFPA Assistant Representative in Ukraine.
Tina Karol expressed her interest in the work of UNFPA in Ukraine and, in particular, in its activities targeted at youth.
Ms. Karol shared her vision on the importance of formation of safe behavior, HIV and drug abuse prevention among Ukrainian youth, and expressed her willingness to collaborate with UNFPA Ukraine on youth-related issues.
The meeting has resulted in a draft collaboration work-plan of UNFPA Ukraine with Tina Karol for 2007-2008.
