UNFPA continues regional trainings on behavior change communications (BCC)
Within the frameworks of the UNFPA project UKR1R41D "VCT, BCC and safe behavior promotion programmes for youth in selected regions", 17 training seminars "Behavior change communication techniques" will be conducted during February - March in five regions of Ukraine.
During October 5-8, 2008 in Yalta United Nations Population Fund has conducted Youth Forum «Healthy Youth — Healthy Future». The goal of the event was to present and discuss the achievements of student organizations in the sphere of safe behaviour advocacy among youth.
On 29 September — 03 October 2008 in Kyiv, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) had conducted the international consultation of countries, which successfully implement HIV/STI prevention projects among uniformed services.
We pay tribute to older persons and the wisdom that comes with a lifetime of experience. And we acknowledge the unprecedented demographic transition that is underway in our world, with the number of persons aged 60 and older rising rapidly.
The main purpose of the event was to present stocktake report "Analytical Review of Current Researches On Gender-Based Violence in Ukraine", done by Regional Human Rights Socio-Educational Centre "Women of Donbas". The report was presented by Head of NGO "Women of Donbas" Ms. Liliya Koveshnikova and Assistant of the Minister of Internal Affairs Mr. Valeriy Arkhipov.
