Tender for procurement of vehicles
Tender for procurement of vehicles for development of mobile volunteer counseling and testing units in five regions of Ukraine (Dnepropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kharkov, Kherson regions and AR Crimea) has been conducted.
Within the framework of the project development of the "evidence base" has been started. The base will be created by designing monitoring and evaluation tools and data collection methods and to be used for advocacy purposes.
At the beginning of May 2007, national partners (Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Interior Forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and State Border Guards Service) were provided with presentational equipment (laptops and multimedia projectors) to be used for educational purposes during regional training workshops organized under the Joint Programme.
In May 2007, 10 regional workshops will be organized. Among them, three 5-days training workshops on VCT for medical staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Defense and State Border Guards Service of Ukraine to take place in Kiev and Odessa.
On April 23-27, first regional training workshop in the framework of the Joint UNDP/UNFPA Programme "HIV/STI Prevention in the Uniformed Services of Ukraine" took place in Lviv.
On April 25-26, 2007, the Programme staff of the UNDP/UNFPA Joint Programme "HIV/STI Prevention in the Uniformed Services of Ukraine" participated in the exhibition of EU-funded projects in Ukraine, which was organized in Kyiv by the European Commission's Delegation to Ukraine.
