UNFPA Youth Advisory Panel meeting dedicated to UN Day was conducted on October 18, 2006 in Kyiv.
UNFPA first seminar for older persons in Ukraine - “Training volunteers for the work with older persons” (10-10-2006, 12:43)In accordance with AWP UKR1P201, UNFPA Ukraine has organized three days pilot seminar for the leaders of older volunteers’ movement in Vinnitsa - “Training volunteers for the work with older persons”. The event took place on 27-29 September 2006 in Vinnitsa. Related methodological and information materials were distributed among the seminar’s participants. A set of equipment – TV, DVD recorder, printer –was procured for regional volunteers’ centre of older persons to facilitate its educational and information work. Seminar for journalists “The issues and perspectives of the demographic development of Ukraine” (21-09-2006, 14:53)In accordance with AWP UKR1P201, UNFPA Ukraine jointly with State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, Institute of Demography and Social Research, and NGO “Ukrainian Center of Social Reforms” has organized a one day seminar for journalists - “The issues and perspectives of the demographic development of Ukraine”. The event took place on 15 September, 2006 on the premises of Institute of Demography and Social Research. Series of training workshops (30-08-2006, 15:28)The United Nations Population Fund under its Country Programme Gender Component initiates a series of training workshops for different specialists at the regional level - representatives of gender-oriented and women’s NGOs, governmental structures subordinated to MOH, MOES, MUFYS and mass media.
