The first UNFPA Country Programme for Ukraine was launched in 2006 and implemented in cooperation with the Government of Ukraine,non-governmental organizations and the academic community.

Starting from 2012, UNFPA and its national partnersare implementingthe second Country Programme for Ukrane which focuses on three interlinked areas:
1) Reproductive Health and Rights
2) Population and Development
3) Gender Equality
